Maximum possibilities

Radio control panel
The control unit is equipped with two independent radio transmitters with two antennas located in the devices.
The control panel selects the optimal communication path based on the transmitter, signal levels, speed and channel.
Firmware updates
U-Prox radio technology supports wireless firmware upgrade for every device including transmitters.
ANTI-SABOTAGE
To counter sabotage threats, the U-Prox system has a comprehensive protection system.
It prevents an intruder from interfering with the system and instantly sends an alarm in the event of a malfunction.
Vandalism protection
Each device is equipped with a tamper switch that prevents the device from being opened unauthorized and removed from the surface. When the tamper is activated, the device sends the alarm to the control unit.
Data spoof protection devices
Each U-Prox device has a unique identification number: a serial number or GID.
Each data packet contains GID and a unique packet ID number.
U-Prox ecosystem components such as the Cloud control this data to avoid retransmission and substitution of packets in transit on the network
Radio protocol protection
U-Prox radio technology provides secure two-way communication.
The protocol is protected by a strong symmetric block cipher algorithm with a 256-bit long private security key.
Each device periodically sends a special data packet (heartbeat) to notify the control panel of its status.
When the sensor does not send this signal to the control panel, it is considered lost and an alarm notification is generated.
Fallback on cellular data connection
The central control unit sends alarms via Ethernet or WI-FI. If no internet connection is available, alarms are sent with a backup GSM/GPRS connection.
Device power control
The control panel has a 2450mAh Li-ion battery backup battery.
When there is no mains power it can work up to 24 hours.
All U-Prox devices are wireless and powered by high quality batteries.
The control panel will send a notification in case of network failure and when some devices have low battery.

Connection to monitoring centers
The U-Prox alarm system works with most monitoring programs compatible with Surgard Contact ID and SIA DC-09.
Connection to the monitoring software is possible with:
• Direct connection between control unit and Console without going through the Cloud or Connection via Cloud between control unit and Console
• Forwarding of panel events in standard format to surveillance
